Throw Them Bows

Last night’s Zumba whooped my butt!! I burned more calories in last night’s short class than I have burned in ANY of the full length classes since starting! 508 calories when normally I come in around 400-450!!

The gym was extra hot. The songs were extra fast. AND I made one key change about 2 songs in.

I PUSHED it!! When we were doing our single, single doubles, I was punching my arms. When we were doing our cumbia, there was an extra kick in my step. When we were doing our salsa, I was pumping my arms. And when we did “Lean Like a Cholo”, one of my personal favorites, my abs were tight and I was THROWIN’ my elbows!!

Getting to class was good but pushing it was even better!!
